Many times you as a teacher might be thinking to allow the workshop activity to put into the assessment phase and skip the submission phase. Other teachers across the globe have also faced this hurdle and proposed a new feature request in Moodle Tracker (MDL-52191).
By using the skip submission phase, you can allow the self and peer assessment of group work. A typical example for that may be the peer assessment of in class presentation/simulation. It will require a group of students to review and critique the value of individual group member’s (including themselves) participation and input throughout a collaboration exercise.
