Recent Moodle Jobs

In the past week many more jobs are posted in the Moodle Jobs database which can be beneficial if you are a part time developer and want to have some extra income.

  • Groundbreaking UK/US film education learning resource seeks passionate, creative instructional designer: We’re looking for instructional designers that like to push the boundaries creatively and technically with Moodle, mobile, Scorm, Captivate, Articulate, Photoshop and other key learning tools exposure and a proven understanding and experience of responsive, clean design.
    • Type: Part-time Contract
    • Location: Note this is a pro-bono to paid role
  • Support Engineer:  For the role based in Chicago the main duties will be to offer first line support for Webanywhere’s products: Moodle, Totara LMS and other e-learning solutions dedicated for our clients.
  • Moodle – Information Technology Analyst 2: Works with the academic community to ensure an effective Moodle implementation; maintains a current working knowledge of industry developments related to the Moodle LMS and generic LMS usage; coordinates second-tier end user system troubleshooting, including LMS-related help desk work orders, bug tracking, and application issues; coordinates and communicates system-related events with ITS support and campus communications personnel.
  • Moodle Developer: Under the supervision of a senior application developer:  Develop, install, test, implement, document and maintain state-of-the-art applications in support of the enterprise information needs of the university; maintain current knowledge of industry developments in technology affecting database and application development; contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the university’s LMS, including customized enhancements to be contributed back to the open source developer community; contribute to the development and maintenance of LMS interfaces with custom student information systems; assist training personnel in developing LMS-related curricula; perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by a project leader, manager, or director.

Jaswinder Singh

Jaswinder Singh, passionate about using Moodle in improving the Indian Education System and reaching the students in far flung areas where still education seems to be a impossible prospect of life. He is the author of the popular Moodle Book "How to use Moodle 2.7". In October 2016, Jaswinder was elected as the Moodle User's Association Committee member - the first to make it from India.
