Prevent students from reattempting a quiz after achieving minimum grade

In the past week, one more nice plugin is submitted in the Moodle plugins database. This plugin named as “Pass grade quiz access rule” is basically a restriction plugins for the quiz module to prevent students from reattempting the quiz once they achieved the required minimum passing grade set by the teacher.

During the initial settings of the quiz, the teacher can enter a required grade which once achieved will result in no more further attempts i.e. it will restrict the quiz after achieving the minimum specified grade.

To install the plugin you need to extract the contents of the zip file into your_moodle_site/mod/quiz/accessrule and then change the settings through the quiz editing interface.

You can download the latest version of this plugin from this link:

The minimum supported version for this plugin is Moodle 2.2 to 2.5 however, i have installed it in Moodle 2.7 and it was working fine on my development site. So, it is advisable to install it first on a copy of your site and test it before installing to your production site.

Thanks to Matt Clarkson for such a nice plugin.
