Have you ever thought of providing a model solution to the assignment given to the students? Generally, while teaching subjects like Mathematics and Science, the assignments are accompanied by model solutions which needs to be released to the students after they have submitted the assignment.

Today, I am going to show you a new plugin – “Solution Sheet“, which can be used by teachers to upload a model solution sheet to the assignment activity. The solution can be released manually or at a scheduled time from the assignment submission deadline. You can also specify a date from when the released solutions will be hidden, e.g., the end of term. The new Assignment Feedback type plugin – “Solution Sheet” is developed by Henning Bostelmann.

  • Easy release of the assignment solution,
  • Multiple feedback files can be provided,
  • Schedule the release of the feedback files.

Since the plugin is an Assignment Feedback type plugin, so you need to install it under your-moodle-site/mod/assign/feedback/solutionsheet directory followed by the installation process through the Notifications page in site administration. Read the Plugin installation guide for complete steps about installing a new plugin in Moodle.
