Online course designers often thrive to increase the low course completion rates. Researches shows that Gamification can lead to higher student engagement and better course completion rates.

But how do you use gamify your Moodle course?

Moodle doesn’t support full-fledged gamification within the core. However there are many features which can be used for gamifying your Moodle course like Activity completion, Conditional Access, Badges etc. Here are 7 Tips for higher student engagement by Chad Outten from My Learning Space.

Stash Plugin set includes the following plugins:

  • Stash Block – The Stash block plugin is the main plugin of the Stash plugin set. It will add an inventory of items to your course and let your students find items by exploring the activities.
  • Stash Availability – This availability plugin is used along with the main Stash block to allow items from the stash to decide the availability of course activities.
  • Stash Snippets Filter – Filter plugin to make the usage of the block “Stash” a lot easier!
