Moodle’s default look has not changed considerably since it’s inception but for the next Moodle version release, the Moodle HQ team is working very hard to improve upon the usability by making major navigation improvements. The major changes includes a brand new Moodle theme project, improved messaging UX interface, LTI improvements etc.
