Extending your questioning skills by using the Word Select plugin – A very easy to use “select the words” question type

Last month, Marcus Green asked for the community feedback about the new question type plugin – “Word Select” in this Moodle forum thread, where he gets overwhelmed feedback about the plugin usage, documentation improvements and translation capabilities to other languages.

Now, the Word Select question type plugin is officially released in the Moodle plugins database and is available for Moodle 2.9 version onwards.Extending your questioning skills by using the Word Select plugin - A very easy to use "select the words" question type

German Valero – contributor of various Cloze editor plugins and Professor at Mexican National Autonomous University shared his experience in improving the documentation of the plugin. German wrote a step-by-step illustrated documentation about writing a nice-looking table for a WordSelect question. Check out the plugin documentation here.

Word Select question type plugin provides a very easy to use “Select the Words” type questions which can be added to your Moodle quizzes.The plugin allows a teacher to create text where one or more words are indicated to be the correct answers. The student is presented with the text and can select one or more words and is marked according to if they are correct.
