Essential theme Stable for Moodle 3.1 released with updates to other versions #Moodlethemes

Essential theme – the most admired, liked and sought-after theme for Moodle has been updated to a new version for all supported Moodle versions with the release of first stable version for Moodle 3.1.

In a recent announcement, Gareth J Barnard – maintainer of Essential and other popular Moodle themes, posted about the release of the new updated version. The new version comes along with many fixed bugs and new features over the previous versions.

So, you needn’t to worry about the testing out and complications arising out of the RC versions. The new version contains the login page background image functionality.

Moreover, for the future support of the theme, Gareth pointed out that the support for Moodle 2.9 and possibly Moodle 3.0 will soon be dropped for Moodle 3.2.
