Atto text editor has got another new plugin to its feature set with a new plugin File Drag & Drop which allows the drag and drop support for files which aren’t images.
The plugin is also awarded with the Reviewer’s Choice badge which is an award given by the plugins guardians and reviewers for particularly useful, well coded or otherwise interesting plugins.
The best thing about this plugin is that it allows all kind of files to be uploaded directly in Moodle by dragging them onto the text editor area and add a link to the file within the Atto content.
And if you have the Media filters enabled on your site then it will display the files inline via the filter once published.
You can download the latest version of the File Drag & Drop plugin for Atto from the Moodle Plugins database here – https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_filedragdrop
By addition of this plugin now the Atto plugins count has grown up to 32 which shows the great functionality extension in the Atto text editor capabilities.
The plugin is available for Moodle 2.7 onwards and is developed by Paul Nicholls.
Which are the other functionalities which you want to be added to the Atto text editor? How this plugin is going to help you out? Do let us know in the comments below.
