Deadline extended for submitting your presentation proposals for MoodleMoot Australia 2017 #MootAU17

Last date to send your presentation proposals for the upcoming MoodleMoot Australia 2017 is extended till 7th August 2017. If you are looking to share your Moodle experience with other Moodlers around the country, you still have time to send your presentation proposals.

MoodleMoot Australia 2017 will be hosted at Sheraton on the Park, in the iconic Hyde Park in Sydney, Australia. The Moodle conference will be held from 26 – 28 September, with a focus on encouraging collaboration and sharing of best practices of the open source learning platform.

Notification of presentation acceptance will be sent by 14th August based on the review by the program committee. You can send your presentation proposals for all disciplinary areas and education levels as there is no specific theme for MoodleMoot this year. The presentation proposals should support the following aims of the conference:

  • Showcase the latest educational research and developments related to Moodle;
  • Share experiences with the open source platform – what have you learnt, what works and what doesn’t – so others can learn from those experiences to enhance and improve their Moodle sites;
  • Provide a forum to discuss education and the professional practice of being an educator;
  • Facilitate debate, networking and professional development opportunities.
