Check out the results from 11th Annual Survey by Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies

Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies – one of the most popular learning sites on the web recently released the list of top 200 tools for learning. The list is compiled based on the survey conducted with more than 2.1K learning professionals worldwide.

The survey was compiled among the 3 sub lists, i.e:

  1. Top 100 Tools for Personal & Professional Learning (PPL)
  2. Top 100 Tools for Workplace Learning (WPL)
  3. Top 100 Tools for Education (EDU)

Surprisingly, the top most place is again occupied by YouTube which was the pole position in 2016 as well. Here is a slideset of all 200 tools as well as their ranking on the 3 sublists.

Here are the top 10 tools for learning in 2017 out of the total 200 tools:

  1. YouTube
  2. Google Search
  3. Powerpoint
  4. Google Docs/Drive
  5. Twitter
  6. Word
  7. Linkedin
  8. Facebook
  9. WordPress
  10. Wikipedia

Our beloved Open Source Learning Management system – Moodle, stays at the 17th place in the Top 100 Tools for Education (EDU) list. However, it dropped by 8 places to 35th in the Top 100 tools for Workplace Learning list.
