Download the new Moodle Mobile app 3.4.1 with new features and improvements

The Moodle mobile app is the official mobile app for Mobile. It allows you to get access to access your Moodle sites courses/content on your mobile devices. In the last release, the official Moodle mobile supports all  Moodle core activities and resources.

Recently, the Moodle mobile team lead by Juan Leyva, released a minor update to the mobile app. This new feature is packed along with many bug fixes and improvements.

The next major version of the Official Moodle mobile app  for Moodle 3.5, will come with brand new avatar. The new app will have a lot of UX, performance and design improvements. The new changes in the app will give a modern look & feel to make it easier to use by learners and teachers.

New features in Moodle Mobile app:

The recent release of the Mobile app includes one of the most demanded feature among online educators – the ability to download course activities and resources on mobile devices. By downloading the course activities and resources the learners can get access to the course content anywhere without an active internet connection.

This new feature can download all activities that are downloadable and it will also prefetch the course options: participants, grades, completion, etc.

The new version of the app includes some bug fixes and improvements like:

  • Embedded Vimeo videos work better
  • Site announcements default forum is duplicated on the app Site Home
  • Badges are not visible in the user site profile and don’t show if they are expired
  • Filters are not applied in the Linux desktop app
