Let students enroll in your #Moodle course easily using Enrolment key based self-registration plugin #MoodlePlugins

Another new plugin released this week in Moodle plugins database is – “Enrolment key based self-registration” which effectively combines the email based self registration and then using the enrollment keys to enroll in a course into a single step.

As of now with the existing setup a student has to first fill out the registration page and then confirm the email through his email client. After confirmation, he has to navigate to the specific course and then enter the enrollment key to enroll himself in the course. Read More

Authentication plugin – Email-based self-registration with admin confirmation updated for Moodle 2.9

In a recent update to the useful authentication plugin – “Email-based self-registration with admin confirmation”, the plugin has been updated to a new version 1.2 which is compatible for Moodle 2.9

The plugin provides the capability to setup the email-based self-registration with admin confirmation instead of user confirmation on your Moodle site. The confirmation email is sent to the main admin account’s email address. When the admin clicks on the confirmation link, a “welcome” email is sent to the user. Read More
