Moodle 3.0.4, 2.9.6, 2.8.12 & 2.7.14 released #Moodle

Moodle has released the point releases of the currently supported Moodle versions i.e. Moodle 3.0.4, 2.9.6, 2.8.12 & 2.7.14 and the new versions are available for downlaod from the Moodle download site as well as the Github page of the Moodle project.

This release is the last release of Moodle 2.8 which was released in Nov 2014 and the previous LTS version of Moodle i.e. Moodle 2.7 will be supported for security fixes for another year. Similarly, Moodle 2.9 will be supported for security issues only after this release. Read More

Moodle 3.1, the next LTS version and much awaited release of Moodle LMS is under continuous integration period and the QA testing for the same will commence by this weekend.

Moodle has passed all 221 tests to be compatible with PHP7 and the new version 3.0.1 will be released in the next week having compatibility with both PHP5 and PHP7.

Moodle 3.0 which is going to be released on Nov 9, 2015 has completed over 79% of QA tests by various Moodle Community members. The QA testing which was started from 12 October 2015 includes more than 500+ tests.
