Moodle 3.0.3, 2.9.5, 2.8.11 and 2.7.13 released #Moodle

Moodle HQ has released minor point releases of Moodle by releasing Moodle 3.0.3, 2.9.5, 2.8.11 and 2.7.13 versions. In a recent announcement on Moodle forums, Marina Glancy posted about the release of the new versions of Moodle.

The releases will address a number of bug fixes and minor improvements along with security vulnerabilities which have been discovered and fixed. Moodle 2.7 and 2.8 branches are now supported for security fixes only. Read More

Moodle LTS release cycle

Right now there is an interesting discussion going on forums about the release cycle of the LTS version of Moodle. Many Moodlers are in favor of having an LTS release after 24 months with an increased support period whereas few are supporting every third release (18 months) to be an LTS release.
