Display configured list of courses using Filtered Course list block #Moodle

Filtered Course list is a block developed by Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project (CLAMP) and can be used as a replacement to the My Courses block to display a configured list of courses.

Moodle site administrator can decide to show the courses in the block sorted by category or by shortname matches. Regex matching is also supported.The block also have the ability to hide the block from guests or anonymous visitors, to choose whether an admin sees all courses or her own, and to hide or reveal a link to a more comprehensive course search. New Plugin – Questionmark QML Importer

Questionmark QML Importer is another new plugin added to the Moodle plugins database which adds the ability to import QML files from Questionmark Perception into the Moodle question bank.

Improvement: How random questions will behave in Moodle 2.9

In a recent  post on Moodle.org forums, Tim Hunt proposed few changes on the behavior of random questions.

Currently if a teacher choose 5 random questions from a category containing 10 questions in a quiz, then there is no certainty that the student will get the different questions in the second attempt. This is what is being changed in the Moodle 2.9. Read More
