Create demo quiz for practice before real exam using this plugin #MoodlePlugins
Many teachers wants to let the students experience the pattern and interface of quiz before the actual exam. Vadim Dvorovenko came up with a new plugin named “Create Demo Quiz” which allows you, as a teacher, to create a demo version of your real examination quiz so that the students can get some preview with same structure.
The plugin creates copy of quiz with random questions, selects some questions and puts them in place of random. So, students may try-out this quiz many times, but will always see the same questions, so your full question bank will be secured until examination.
- Creates demo quiz in a single click.
- Always show the same questions for practice.
- Keeping your question bank secure.
The plugin installation process is very simple and the zip file has to be extracted into Your-Moodle-Site/local directory followed by completing the installation process through the Notifications page. Read the Plugin installation guide for complete steps about installing a new plugin in Moodle.
The plugin is meant to be used by the teachers to teach the first time Moodle users i.e. the students which are not familiar with the Moodle quiz interface.
The plugin doesn’t comes up with any documentation page .
Does it serves its purpose:
Yes, the plugin serves the purpose and creates the demo quiz within a single click right below the original quiz.
You can download the Create Demo Quiz plugin here – https://moodle.org/plugins/local_quizdemo
I am happy to give it 4 stars out of 5 based on the practical usage scenario of this plugin. The only negative thing about this plugin is the lack of documentation page.
